From the beginning, The Professional Family Manager has always asserted the importance of respecting your role as mother in the same manner as you respect any other career; that you should dress, present yourself, treat yourself, and speak of yourself as a professional in your field.I have written about the benefits of having business cards for yourself--whether or not you have a business or blog--to present when you need to give out your information; it's certainly much better than scrambling in your purse for a scrap of paper on which to write your name and phone number. As a mother, you've been in that position before, whether on the playground or meeting a contractor or at a store.
I am very proud to have UPrinting as a sponsor of The Professional Family Manager, especially as I believe they are a fantastic company to which everyone should turn for high quality printing. Take a look at their great business card--you are not limited by the standard rectangle but can get unusual cut-outs to really make your card stand out. Who ever decided that a business card must look like a business card? Have some fun with it!
Christmas is 162 days away. Why not start thinking about your Christmas cards/family newsletters? Get them ordered and pre-printed and save yourself the last-minute scribbling in the card.
UPrinting will also print canvas prints for your special photos, family calendars, stationery, and more.
To celebrate UPrinting becoming my sponsor, Online Poster Printing is sponsoring the opportunity to win a free 16 X 20 Rolled Canvas Print! All you need to do is leave a comment describing what summer photo you would like to have printed.
I'm going to order one of these as a present for my oldest daughter. Two summers ago she got her first and only dog--a deep-red Golden Retriever--who she has been diligently training in obedience, agility, and conformation. These two have the closest bond; they are a great pair. I'm going to surprise her with a picture of the two of them that I took shortly after she brought him home. I want her to always remember the joy she felt when her sweet dog came into her life.
About Online Poster PrintingOnline Poster Printing specializes in printing high-quality posters using premium materials. We offer a money back guarantee on all our products, such as photo canvas prints, vinyl banners, wall stickers, and rolled or mounted poster prints.

Awesome giveaway! I'd love to print off a shot of my son going across the monkey bars for the first time.
I'm not sure what a "16X20 roll print" is, but if it's free I'll take it!
What a wonderful giveaway. I would print a shot of my girls outside in the beautiful colors of summer. it would be hard to pick just one.
Hi! I loved this post! I'm a teacher and am so bummed that I don't get my own business cards. There are so many situations where it would be nice to hand one out! Also, I completely agree that being a stay-at-home mom is such a full time (and the most important!) job, and that having business cards made up is such a perfect idea. (I'd love to stay home when I finally have kids, so I like this option.)
Anyhoo, thanks for leaving such a nice message on my blog! Hope your weekend goes well! :)
Oh, by the way, I like your contest! Not sure which picture I want yet, so I'll have to look through my scrapbooks, and get back to ya! :)
Stopping by from SITS to give a little blog ♥
I ♥ pics
Hi Michele! Thanks for the awesome comment on my blog!
I am curious about Uprint. I am seeing their name alot lately and I excited to check them out. I would have a big print made of a wonderful family trip we took last year hiking. It's a great shot of my hubby and two kids walking across a big field. It was one of the best days we'e had in a long time. I smile and tear up everytime I look at that pic.
Amen (about moms/jobs)!! great givaway-i would print my fave of my boy-picking dandelions (or yellow flowers as he calls them)
Great givaway!
Just visiting from SITS and hoping your weekend will be great!
Please visit me at SweeterLiving
Ops forgot to mention: my summerpicture of my two darlings (kids) of course!
Hey, would they send that to Europe though...
Hi Michele.. wanted to thank you for visiting my blog! I don't believe I've seen you there before. Please feel free to follow me. I am going to look around at your blog now. Business cards are EXACTLY what I'm looking to get now!!! Coincidence!!! Thanks again!
I love your post!!!! Thanks for visiting my blog today. I loved your labor story...mine will be very similar...just keep checking back on my blog for updates and the final delivery.
What an awesome idea for gifts...but did you really have to mention that Christmas is only 162 days away???? Now I have to go start making my gift list....DANG IT!
Visiting from SITS... I am pretty sure I LOVE your blog and this is my first visit. Funny thing - I just ordered business cards for myself about a week ago. I wish, now, that I had put "Family Manager" as my title. Hmm... maybe I'll just need to order more. Happy blogging! :)
What a great give away! Love it. And congrats on the sponsor. Your site is great. I would love a pic I took of our son in Cabo last month playing in the sand. I wrote his name in the sand next to it and it just precious.
A totally awesome giveaway! If I won, I would love to have the photo of my son at the pier printed, its one of my favorites. It was lovely to see you on my blog today, thanks for supporting my cookie habit! he he!
Hope you have a great Friday!
P.S. - I think the idea of having business cards printed out with my name and blog site address is a great idea! Thanks again!
I'm gonna look into business cards...
The summer isn't over - my best pics may be yet to come!
Great giveaway!!! :) I'd use a photo of my two little girlies sitting outside under a tree in our front yard. :)
good ideas! following your blog...
I would like to print a large picture from our trip to Paris last year... I think it would make a great art piece in my house!
Last Christmas I created my own card and had a website print it - it was just like ordering a bunch of postcards. Way cheaper than "Christmas" cards and I got do make them exactly like I wanted. I will have to see about using Uprints this year...
I've always thought about getting a card with my info, now I know where to get it!!! Thanks girl!
Hmm, which one would I pick?? I think if I had to choose one summer photo to be printed it would be the one of my little 3 yr. old girl on the beach.
It was a misty gray morning, she was wearing a light tan sweater zipped up with soft pink leggings rolled up (of course). Her hair was pulled back into a soft ponytail with many curls framing her face and blowing in the wind. She is standing semi-sideways with her back to me looking out into the ocean. She looks so thoughtful in the picture, it's beautiful.
what a freaking gem you are. I love what you shared with me on my blog comments. thank you for being you.

Very cool.
I'd probably want a picture of my kids in the pool when we were in Texas.
I'd love one of my four kids on our favorite beach!
I'd love to get one of these prints. My niece who is a photographer is going to do a photo shoot of my family next week.
Thank you for participating in our giveaway! We truly appreciate the support.
