Many people that are connected to the children will have some rights to the children these days in the country This is in order to ensure that children are growing close to people who love them for a better growth and development, That is why we have grand parents rights as some of he rights that are issued out by the law these days. Grandparents can take care of the children in case the parents are not able to. In case of a teenage pregnancy for instance or irresponsible parents, grandparents will be the ones who will be issued with the rights to take care of the child so that the child will grow well and within the family. In case if imprisonment too, the grandparent can demand their rights over the children in order to enjoy custody. For children who are still with the parents, then the grand parent rights will still be there but in terms of visitation rights, where the grandparents will visit the child from time to time or the child will visit the grandparents, as per the agreement with children. Cases of grandparents demanding for their rights are usually not so many. In families where grandparents are not in good terms with the parents of the child, you will hear such cases because the parents may try to deny the grandparents their rights to be close to the grandchildren, which is against the law. Grandparents can impact the life of a child in so many ways therefore it is good to have them close to the children. They can also give the children the love that they need in order to feel secure emotionally.
